The 4th dimension is defined by linear time where past and future exist on the timeline of our life. In such a reality, the beliefs we accumulated in our history define us.
The 4th dimension is the mental realm of thought-forms. Some are conscious and many are unconscious; they dictate how to be in the world and how we feel about ourselves.
For example, Christine was not validated by her father when she was a child. Within her cellular memory, she carries the belief that her words do not matter, and that she has nothing interesting to say. In her current adult life, she feels stuck, like if something was caught in her throat that no swallowing can relieve. The meaning she gave to herself when she was a child is still present in her subconscious mind, not allowing her to share her gifts with the world, even though she knows she has a voice and knowledge to pass. To heal, she shall turn her attention within, descend her awareness into her body where the hidden memories of the past can be accessed.
The subconscious mind speaks with images and symbols, as well as emotions.
As Christine descends in her body, she locates the feeling of stuckness in her throat as a lump, yellow and sticky. From this place, she identifies her inner child as timid and subdued. Inquiring into the child’s needs, she connects the dots of wanting validation and freedom to be who she is.
Healing in the fourth dimension consists in offering the inner child what she needs, thus becoming the parent we did not have.
It happens in the inner reality of imagination. However, for the brain to register and create new neuro-pathways, the felt sense in the body is the necessary accompaniment for connecting mind and body, psyche and soma, yoking the self back into unity.
In the 4th dimension of thought-forms, we exist as ego-self -“the ego is a bundle of thoughts” ~Ramana Maharshi. Ego is not a bad thing per se; however, it is limited and does not represent the entire self.
Wholeness comprises the mind, body, and heart – thoughts, sensations, and feelings. As the inner child feels gratification and contentment, it clears up the distress in the now moment. The energy stuck in the body as a looping reaction in search of a resolution is liberated. The unconscious fixation on the past (due to unresolved past experience) ceases as well as the search for contentment and resolution. The person experiences well-being again.
In the state of contentment, the past and the future vanish, placing us right in the present’s satisfaction. We are united again, whole and complete. We have accessed the fifth dimension where unity is the law.
